The problem

Head Start's grant monitoring ran on a 15-year-old system. Reviewers overseeing a $10 billion program worked around its limits instead of with it.

What we built

We moved it to a modern, cloud-native application without interrupting oversight. The interface follows USWDS, the services are easier to scale and maintain, and a Jenkins pipeline handles continuous integration and delivery. Every screen is 508 compliant.

The impact

Oversight is faster, data is better managed and the platform is accessible to everyone who uses it. A legacy grant system became a cloud service that can keep up with the program.
