Our Approach

BLEN built a data visualization platform for the Department of Education (ED) as part of the President’s Open Data Initiative. This data visualization platform will allow ED to share and publish it’s vast data sets about its grant programs and performance on an ongoing basis.

The tools enable users to explore different datasets, tilesets and data points on to same maps. Built on top Drupal to manage the data with HTML5 markups, highly efficient JavaScripts and CSS3 and using MapBox for mapping, the platform is a very responsive and very intuitive to use.
